Returns, RMA & Warranty

Need to return merchandise, report a problem with a shipment, or request warranty assistance? Start here so we can review the situation and provide the correct next steps.

Contact us before sending anything back.

Merchandise should not be returned to Coplites without prior authorization and return instructions.

Start with an RMA request.

Before returning merchandise, contact Coplites and provide the order number, the item you would like to return, and the reason for the request. Photos or other supporting information may be requested when the return involves damage, an incorrect item, or a product issue.

We will review the request and determine whether the merchandise is eligible for return. If approved, Coplites will provide return authorization and any instructions that apply to the merchandise.

An RMA authorization does not by itself guarantee a refund or other resolution. Returned merchandise may need to be received and inspected before the final disposition is determined.

Qualifying returns must generally be requested within 14 days of delivery.

Coplites accepts return requests for eligible merchandise when the request is initiated within 14 calendar days after the item is delivered to its destination. Exceptions may be approved in limited circumstances, but they are uncommon and are not guaranteed. All returns require prior authorization from Coplites.

14-Day Return Window

The standard return window begins when the carrier records the item as delivered to its destination. A return request should be submitted to Coplites within 14 calendar days of that delivery date.

Condition & Packaging

Merchandise must be eligible for return and should be complete and in returnable condition with its original components, accessories, documentation, and packaging when available. Installed, altered, used, incomplete, or customer-damaged merchandise may have limited or no return eligibility.

Special & Configured Products

Special-order, custom-configured, programmed, cut-to-length, made-to-order, discontinued, clearance, or otherwise specially sourced merchandise may be restricted from return or subject to different terms.

Restocking Fees

Qualifying returns are subject to a standard 20% restocking fee. Certain products may be subject to a higher restocking fee based on the item or applicable manufacturer, distributor, or supplier requirements. Any higher fee will be communicated during the return review.

Items that arrive damaged are handled as exchanges, not standard returns for refund.

If an item arrives damaged, contact Coplites promptly and keep the merchandise and packaging. Damaged-on-arrival items are handled on an exchange-only basis after review and are not processed as ordinary returns subject to the standard restocking fee.

Tell us promptly when a shipment arrives with a problem.

If merchandise arrives damaged, appears to have been damaged in transit, is missing from the shipment, or does not match what you ordered, contact Coplites as soon as reasonably possible.

Items confirmed to have arrived damaged are handled on an exchange-only basis rather than as a standard return for refund. Coplites will provide instructions for the damaged item and replacement process after the issue has been reviewed.

Keep the merchandise and all packaging materials until we have reviewed the issue. Photos of the shipping carton, labels, packing materials, product, and visible damage can help us determine the appropriate next step and may be required for a carrier or supplier claim.

Do not discard damaged packaging or return the merchandise on your own unless Coplites instructs you to do so. Missing or incorrect items will also be reviewed individually so the appropriate correction can be arranged.

Most product warranties are provided by the manufacturer.

Coplites sells products from multiple manufacturers, and warranty coverage, duration, exclusions, and claim procedures are determined by the applicable manufacturer unless Coplites specifically states otherwise for a product.

If you purchased an item from Coplites and believe it has a warranty-related problem, contact us with your order information and a description of the issue. We can help identify the product and determine the appropriate warranty path based on the information available to us.

A manufacturer may require troubleshooting, photographs, serial numbers, proof of purchase, direct contact with its technical support department, or shipment of the product to a designated service location before approving warranty service.

Approved refunds are processed after the return is resolved.

When a qualifying return is approved for refund, Coplites will process the approved refund after the merchandise has been received and any required inspection has been completed. The refund will reflect the standard 20% restocking fee or any higher product-specific restocking fee disclosed during the return review.

Once a refund is issued, the time required for the funds to appear depends on the payment method and financial institution. Coplites cannot control a bank or card issuer's posting time after a refund has been submitted.

Items that arrive damaged are handled as exchanges rather than returns for refund. Warranty claims, incorrect shipments, and other product issues may follow a different resolution process based on the circumstances and any applicable manufacturer or supplier requirements.

Use the return instructions provided with your authorization.

Return shipping responsibility and the correct return destination depend on why the merchandise is being returned and where the product must be processed. An approved return may need to go to Coplites, a distributor, a manufacturer, or another designated location.

Follow the shipping instructions provided with the RMA. If you are responsible for shipping an approved return, use adequate packaging and a trackable shipping method. Keep the tracking information until the return has been received and resolved.

Sending merchandise to an address without authorization may delay processing and can result in the shipment being refused or being sent to the wrong location.
